Marta
Kochanek
Starting the early part of her career working in photographic production. Marta was tutored by world-renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz - a life-changing opportunity and experience that would later influence her journey on the road to becoming a respected photographer herself.
Seen across both her commercial and fine art photography projects, Marta’s distinctive cinematic style is what drew our attention to her work. We were attracted to her innate creativity and bowled over by her resounding tenacity and ambition.
Marta's work has garnered extensive recognition from the creative industry and has been awarded at the very highest level. Her many standout projects include this captivating portrait study of Tim Andrews - a lawyer who retired after his Parkinson diagnosis in 2008.
This beautifully captured and emotive series was born from "Over the Hill " a charity project initiated by Andrews, in which he has been the subject for over 450 highly respected and influential photographers, turning himself into his very own art project. The images all featuring Tim raise awareness of the life-changing disease. Marta’s talent, warm and engaging personality position her in the very best possible company.
